Sensei Masuko Gartman

Please join us to honor Sensei Masuko Gartman as MyLan's Gifts Gallery welcomes a distinguished showing of her private collection! Masuko's Artwork exists in private collections across the United States and Japan, including the White House Library, U.S. Research Laboratory, Museum of Aviation; and countless galleries, museums, and distinguished homes throughout. Most of Masuko's artworks being shown within the Gallery have never been released to the public for viewing. These works have only been used either as workshop subjects for her students or developed for her private collection within her family. These are the last of her works, some dating back to almost 40 years old; and the only works that will be released for sale while her remaining works will be entered into various museums across the United States and Japan.

A reception was held in Masuko's honor on January 8th from 11:00am - 1:00pm.  We were honored to be host to over 40 guests!  Masuko was brought to the reception by her friends at Belvedere Commons.  Her unsold works will remain at MyLan's Gifts through 2012.
